www.mugglenet.com
That is an extremely useful site. Go to the encyclopedia, and it lists all the creatures, plants, items, spells, books, places... You name it.
Also, I just thought it might help to post this:
"Known woods used for wands include ebony, holly, willow, ash, rosewood, mahogany, yew, vinewood, oak, hornbeam, maple, hawthorn and beech. Known core materials are dragon heartstring, phoenix feather, unicorn tail hair, and Veela hair, although the last of these is considered somewhat unstable. Mr Ollivander, the world's premier wandmaker [JKR website], uses only the first thee cores and does not use Veela hair."
Quoted from the site. :3 For those of you who don't know what woods are available. Mine, for example, is Ash and Pheonix feather.
